Our Sunday meditation group meets this week on Sept. 30 at 10 a.m. This week's class focuses on a guided meditation on the breath. It will be taught by Christine.
Our group discusses and practices calm abiding (shamatha) meditation as taught in Tibetan Buddhism. Stabilizing and focusing the mind enables one to discern the mind’s habits and functions, which leads to many benefits for oneself and for others.
